Happy Advent Everybody!!
I am busy in my cake den today working on cakes for this weekend and bakes for tomorrow's counter with Christmas songs playing and snow falling in my garden (it doesn't really get more Christmassey than that!)
I hope all of those naughty little elves are behaving themselves and I've got a little Christmas cutie to show you a bit later that will be up for sale over the weekend.

Well that was an elfing busy Thursday!
Thank you for keeping me busy and good luck for elf return day tomorrow!
Important points to remember from a retired elf mummy...
1. Don't swap props that are labelled with your children's friends names (i.e. hats and scarves for decorating the Christmas tree). This will result in your elves being put into elf jail and you not being able to see your hat owning friends for a long time after Christmas, until the mental scars have healed.
2. Normal felt tops have a similar effect to Sharpies when the elves draw on your face and it's left over night and you will have to spend two days wearing elf creations on your face.
3. Sticky dots do NOT hold an elf to the ceiling of a Travel Lodge and my result in your elf falling from a great height in front of your children. This could cause great trauma, a possibly broken elf leg and some speedy creative thinking on your part!

I feel like I've set the bar far too high on the first day with balloons and cake. Its going to be disappointing from 2nd dec to 24th 🤣
